Some people are so happy with what they have that they want to help others. That's why there are plenty of websites, blogs, and other online resources where you can find books for free. Many people don't buy printed books any more, flocking instead to ebooks or digital downloads that save money. Still others try to give books away for free in the hope that someone will take the title up and pass it on themselves. So if you want to be a part of something bigger than yourself, why not give it a go? It's nothing to tread on green pastures and drink from a sweet spring. All you have to do is give away your book – the first step – and let someone else take the next step. You can probably pass it on for free too, or sell it for a few bucks after that. Daniel Huber is a former English teacher from Massachusetts who gave up his day job in 2007 so he could become an author, publisher, and book seller. He travels around Ireland buying old books from antiques stores and libraries for pennies on the pound. He then restores them and sells them online. His website has thousands of titles available, giving him control over the distribution of his books across the world. This way his books are more likely to be read than most other authors', because they travel further, are more affordable, and last longer. At first Daniel decided to sell his books on Amazon, but then he was inspired to start BookCrossing. He liked that you could leave a book in a public place where it would be passed by others, i.e., not thrown away, worn out, or donated to charity. He thought it would make for a great marketing tool as well, helping people know about some of the good reads he has published throughout the years. Daniel has written numerous titles over the years. He published his first novel, "Above the Bridge" in 2008 to mixed reviews. From there he wrote "The Narrow Road", a travel journal about a trip he took across Ireland. It was released in 2009, and was given great reviews by readers who have purchased it on Amazon.com and BN.com. Daniel also writes a blog that gets a few hundred views a day from around the world, which is an added bonus for any budding author nowadays. In his teenage years, Daniel Huber was a vocalist in a band called Fahrenheit 451. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. .Article on Huffington Post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/download-free-ielts-writing-books_55ebf9e1e4b0d69d7e5c7b4b http://www.booksconnectionblogger.com/2007/07/07/destination-life-bookcrossing_20What's_New_and_What's_Reading_Now!/Page+29 http://www.amazon. cfa1e77820
